Lee patiently explained the various camera types available and the way they were fitted, along with the costs involved. There was no high-pressure sales nonsense, just good, sound advice. The completed job was done in a day, including setting up the CCTV on my desktop and on my wife's and my mobiles. We are more than happy with the results and the value for money. Our cameras were fitted three months ago and have worked perfectly. I can recommend Lee and his team without reservation.

Common questions
CCTV system FAQs
Straight answers to the questions we get asked most. Still unsure? A free survey is the easiest way to get it right.
What is the best CCTV home security system?
There is no single best system. The right one depends on your property, what you want to keep an eye on, your broadband and your budget. What really matters is sensible camera placement, a recorder with enough storage, dependable night vision and a setup that stands up to the weather. A system surveyed and fitted properly for your home will always beat an expensive DIY kit bought off the shelf, installed poorly and put in the wrong places.
Home security →Which CCTV camera system is best for home?
It comes down to matching the camera to the job. For most homes a wired system gives the most reliable, best-quality footage. The things that count are clear resolution, colour night vision options, accurate alerts and deterrent features that move the criminals on. We recommend what actually fits your home, and this is not always the most expensive equipment.
Home CCTV →What security system do burglars hate, and which houses do they avoid?
Burglars go for the easiest target on the street, so the best protection is layers rather than one gadget. A good-quality CCTV system with active deterrent, paired with a smart Intruder Alarm, is one of the strongest visible signals that a home is not worth the risk, and it moves opportunists on. Add solid locks and good lighting and you have a home that simply is not worth the bother.
Home security →How much does a home CCTV system cost?
It depends on the number of cameras, the quality of the equipment and how easy your home is to cable. A single-camera standalone costs far less than a full multi-camera system, and a straightforward install is cheaper than one that needs cables run through cavity walls or awkward spots. Rather than guess, we give you a clear, exact price after a free survey, with honest options at various price points, so you choose what fits.
Get a free quote →Is it better to have wired or wireless security cameras?
We only ever install wired equipment. That said, we do not just clip cables all over your house; we aim for no-cable-on-show installs, with the cable either hidden in the cavity walls or in cable management. There are scenarios where a wireless camera could be incorporated, but remember a wireless camera still needs to be powered, so it still needs a cable. The wireless part of it is generally WiFi.
Our services →Is my neighbour allowed to have a camera pointed at my house?
A neighbour can use home CCTV, but as soon as it films beyond their own boundary, your home, garden or the pavement, data protection rules apply to them. They should point cameras away from your property where they can, only capture what they need, and put up a notice that recording is taking place. If it is bothering you, the advice is to have a friendly word first, and if that does not resolve it you can raise it with the ICO. This is general guidance, not legal advice.
Home security →Which CCTV camera is better, WiFi or wired?
Wired cameras are always better than any DIY WIFI-type cameras. There are scenarios where a wireless camera may be a better option, maybe as a temporary solution while you wait for a more professional system to be installed.
